Agenda and Minutes for 09/20/2011

The Agenda and Minutes for the meeting between myself, Domingo, Marcos, and Prof. Wood on September 20th are now available.

Going forward, the Agenda for every meeting will be available online at least 24-hours in advance and the Minutes will be posted soon after the meeting's end.  We will post, every time, a notification that they are online, but these documents can always be found on the Media page.

First General Meeting

A general meeting will be held on Tuesday, October 4th, 2011 at 3:15pm in the Guadalupe Room at the Student Union, to organize Pi Sigma Alpha for the year.

2011 Elections Results

As of the close of yesterday's elections, Pi Sigma Alpha at SJSU, Epsilon Iota, has filled its officer positions - details on the individuals now holding those positions is forthcoming.

2011 Elections - Location Update

We now have concrete location details for the Pi Sigma Alpha elections tomorrow:

The Guadalupe Room
Student Union
3:00pm - 4:00pm

The actual election process will begin promptly at 3:10pm.

2011 Elections

Elections will be held this Tuesday, September 27th, 2011, at 3pm (location to-be-determined), for the confirmation of current President, Vice President, and Secretary appointments, as well as the following open positions:

• Treasurer
• Social Chair
• Fundraising Chair
• Historian
• Membership Recruitment Chair
• Public Relations Chair
• Scholarship Chair
• Special Projects Officer

For the position of Treasurer, the member must qualify and apply for full status with Pi Sigma Alpha, but all other positions only require associate member status.

Nominations and votes will only be accepted from members of PSA, or those who demonstrate sufficient interest in PSA at the time - the process will be pursued through in-person voicing.

The location of the election will be announced as soon as it's determined, through a new post, here on the site.

As of today, we are now a more social Pi Sigma Alpha!  You can "Like" us on Facebook and follow us on Twitter - we'll be keeping an eye on these pages, and trying to keep them updated, so don't be shy about posting content or sending messages.

Also, the mailing list was briefly lived, as it's been shut down in favor of this site.

Officially Recognized

As of yesterday, August 16th, 2011, we're again officially recognized by SJSU.  Thanks to everyone that helped the whirlwind process move forward.

We're going to have our first business meeting this week, to get organized, and will have information on meetings, events, and more very soon.
