Los Gatos Creek Clean Up

Attention PSA Members,

State Senator Jim Beall is hosting his annual Los Gatos Creek Cleanup on Saturday August 16th from 9-11am. This will be a GREAT chance not only to help protect our local environment by removing trash and debris from a local stream, but also an opportunity to meet many elected officials from around the Silicon Valley. Registration begins at 8:45 a.m. Trash bags, trash sticks, and gloves will be provided. Parking will be available at the Campbell Inn, located at 675 E. Campbell Ave across from the park. Also, everyone who RSVPs ahead of time receives a Certificate of Recognition from Senator Beall! Please consider participating in this awesome community event. Agenda for 2012-02-01 Meeting

The Agenda for the upcoming meeting is now available.  Please note that the positions of both Secretary and Membership Recruitment Chair, respectively of the Executive Board and the Cabinet, are open and elections will be held at this meeting.

Also noteworthy is the fact that the Minutes for the December 2011 Meeting have been lost and are, therefore, permanently unavailable.  Due to the reality that it's unclear, from a lack of records, what occurred at this Meeting, as well as the possibility of a lack of quorum for certain portions of it, the December Agenda has been merged with next week's Agenda.

As promised, our first meeting in 2012 will be held on February 1, 2012 in Clark 116 from 3:00pm - 4:00pm.  The day's proceedings will begin sharply at 3pm.

Meeting on 11/1/2011

There will be a General Meeting on November 1, 2011 at 3:15pm in Clark 116, an incubator meeting room on the far side of the Academic Success Center - the same room as last time.

An agenda will be posted no later than 24 hrs. prior to the time of meeting.

2011 Elections - Location Update

We now have concrete location details for the Pi Sigma Alpha elections tomorrow:

The Guadalupe Room
Student Union
3:00pm - 4:00pm

The actual election process will begin promptly at 3:10pm.

2011 Elections

Elections will be held this Tuesday, September 27th, 2011, at 3pm (location to-be-determined), for the confirmation of current President, Vice President, and Secretary appointments, as well as the following open positions:

• Treasurer
• Social Chair
• Fundraising Chair
• Historian
• Membership Recruitment Chair
• Public Relations Chair
• Scholarship Chair
• Special Projects Officer

For the position of Treasurer, the member must qualify and apply for full status with Pi Sigma Alpha, but all other positions only require associate member status.

Nominations and votes will only be accepted from members of PSA, or those who demonstrate sufficient interest in PSA at the time - the process will be pursued through in-person voicing.

The location of the election will be announced as soon as it's determined, through a new post, here on the site.
